Sacred Space

I discovered this artist, Peia Luzzi yesterday and can not stop listening to this song.  It speaks to a sacred space within me that has been yearning to be filled.  I've become numb as a defense mechanism to the barrage of devastation, discord, and inhumanity that seems to be growing ever present.  This music and this song lit a fire in my soul and I going to use this blog to reignite my Spirit.  I will write, and I will collect beautiful things that fill my soul, and I will reflect light and I will create light.  It is only light that can drive out darkness.

I came across this poem Rising by Lisa McCrohan yesterday also.  It too spoke to me and reinforced the awareness that there are so many people yearning, learning, growing, seeking, sparkling, gathering, honoring, shedding, recovering, circling, sharing, praying, celebrating, and RISING - it felt empowering.  It made me hopeful.  I'm on a quest now.  I am seeking to see the bright light of Spirit shining, and share it.  It's for me, I need it.  Perhaps it's for you too.  Sparkle on.  Shine Your Light!
